1 MEMBERSHIP :
Any permanent employee of Bank of India can become a member of the Society by paying an entrance fee of Rs.1/- and purchasing minimum one share of Rs.10/-. He has to apply in the prescribed application form which can be had from the Society’s office by paying Re.1/- each. Members, retire members or their families can become Nominal Members by paying Re.1/- as entrance fee.
 
2 MONTHLY CONTRIBUTION :
 A. CUMULATIVE DEPOSIT.
At present every member has to pay minimum monthly subscription of Rs.100/- towards cumulative deposit.
 
B. MEMBERS’ BENEVOLENT DEPOSIT SCHEME
Every member has to contribute Rs.40/- per month towards Members’ Benevolent Deposit Scheme. The benefits admissible under this scheme are as follows :

Provided, where the member’s death is directly due to mass loss of life of enemy action or natural calamity, the nominee(s) of such member/s shall not be eligible for assistance/medical aid as indicated under the rule 5.4 The scheme provides Medical Aid / Assistance for the following diseases to the extent of Rs. 20,000/- to Nominal members as per rules. (1) Cancer (2)All Heart Ailments (3)All Major Accidents (5)Brain Ailments (6)Loss of eye-sight Major eye operation (7)Kidney Transplantation. Above scheme will be known as scheme ‘A’. Under the scheme ‘B’ Medical Aid can be sanctioned upto 25% of the claim submitted by the Nominal member to the society to the maximum of Rs.10,000/- only. (within overall limit of Rs.20,000/-)
